Message	as far as boring your cylinders, I would make that decision based on your leak down numbers. Your bearing looks as if it was damaged by debris...You should try to determine the source of it if possible. I'd also check the internals of your oil pump to check for damage. I'd also buy a new oil cooler as they are difficult to flush thoroughly. The last thing you need is a dirty oil cooler polluting your new engine when everything goes back together.
